We received a call from 206-000-1587...we were told that they were calling from the U.S. Government. We had received several of these calls from different numbers this last week and this caller had such a thick accent we couldn't understand him very well. When we asked for a badge number he didn't know what that was. So I told him to kiss my butt and not call this number again and I hung up. These people are Parasites feeding on the fear of people just to steal whatever information they can get. I tell them if they have my phone number they must have my Attorneys address so send them a letter (snail mail)...at that point they usually hang up.
Called two days ago. Saying I won a grant for school....I say no I'm good not interested. Calls today asking if I needed a sub (substitute teacher)... I say no then precedes to tell me my mother who they didn't have a name for gave them my number and that I needed a sub. How they knew I was a teacher I will never know. I politely said no and then they ask me to work for them in this guy's apartment..... micheal something. Auto blocked number.
My work phone rings, I answer as usual but only hear background noise. So, I give it a few seconds and repeat my greeting. Nothing but background noise. I'm ready to hang up but decide to say, "Hello? I can hear you breathing. Speak!" to which the caller says (in a thick middle-eastern accent), "Fine, you can hear me but I don't want to talk to you!" and then he disconnects.
