They did me the same way talking bout I was approved for a grant for 8000 dollars and that I had to pay 213.00 dollars before I could get the money so I typed the number in and I'm glad I did money is tight and got bills to pay can't afford to lose any money and when he calls me back in the morning I'm cursing they [***] out cause it's a dam shame trying to take people hard earned money times are hard and instead of them putting their skills to find a job they rather sit around on their [***] and take people money....
I got the same call and they directed me to get from Ride Aid a PAY PAL for$200 and to give to them the code for they to send a $7K .I don't find a location for that number.
These people have been calling me for weeks now, sometimes twice a day, as soon as the foreign accented "Kevin Anderson" comes on the line talking I tell him I'm not interested and hang up...well today they called again, I finally just played along went through all the questions (address, marital status, & age) then got the information for me to call my "rep" Edward Cole with the approval number of AU173, to get my Western Union information so I could receive the $7000 I was awarded. Scam, scam, scam...next time they call I'm just going to tell them that Alicia died

When you "played along" did you give them your real information? If so, you should closely monitor all your financial accounts: bank accounts, credit cards, and credit issuers for new loans or cards taken out in your name.
Never give out personal information; never call back; don't answer repeated calls from numbers you know or suspect to be scamming you.
I got the same call from two numbers first one was (202) 738-1667
DC, USA
The second one was (206) 201-2083
WA, USA
I told me to pay 250.00 For a security deposit then some crap about being a tax state got paid for the tax up front 700.00 more dollars so every one stand clear of those two numbers.
