Got a call from this number that I didn't answer and they left an automated message saying they were from the IRS who is filing a lawsuit against me. Obviously a scam.
I just received a call from 206-201-2434 saying they are the IRS and I am facing a lawsuit. First, why would the IRS call a cell phone? Second, I just received a notice from the IRS after I filed an amended return saying I owe 0. All my numbers are on Local and National Do Not Call Lists. How do these jokers get through?
These are criminals posing as the IRS. Left a voicemail to "inform" us that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against us, and asking that we call them back on 206.201.2434 to review our case file.
