I told the guy with a foreign accent that I always pay my taxes but his script that he read said I would be arrested without bail or legal representation. I told him that I wanted the case number which he never provided. He continued to read his criminal script and I interrupted and said I would go to the IRS office tomorrow to look into this further. He told me I owed $1,989. Seemed like a lot of effort for that amount of money.
I think I asked so many questions he hung up on me. I reported to whole thing to the inspector general for the IRS and the FTC.

I recd call from 206-201-2495 stating IRS was going to file lawsuit against me. Not very good english. asked to speak to someone I could understand better. the guy was not any better, He wanted me to take cash $1292.84 to the Dollar General in town. The strangest thing was he wanted to call me on my cell phone. his number came up 425-286-8792. Then he wanted to stay on the line with me from now until I got the cash and paid Dollar General. I told him it would be over one hour. He said that was fine. I told him to file his papers. He had the nerve to call me back and ask if I hung up on him. I just repeated for him to file his lawsuit, then i did hang up. Googled the number and found out a scam,
I just received a voice mail message just like the comments above. The message said to call this 206)201-2495 number because I was being sued by the IRS. I turned on my computer and googled IRS with the number and this website came up. It seemed way too weird. My thing is, the IRS knows where I live why in the world would I receive a phone call! I hope others don't fall for this! I also just blocked the last number called to my phone. It was 877 504-1892 seems as though they are getting more hip by using a 877 number. It might also be this 703-266-0142 number instead. At any rate, I am blocking them both!
