Letter says I won a sweepstakes if I cash the check I sent and send back over $3000 I will get the $100,000 prize.
Address in Seattle is OZL6/41, 1225 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA.
Called the number and he claimed it was legitimate, but posting on King County Washington DA website says....Scams
If someone calls you, (e.g., a telemarketer), don't be afraid to hang up on them.
Stay away from deals that sound "too good to be true".
Beware of deals that ask for a lot of money up front and promise sure success.
