they say this call is from us government and say I WIN 7000$ and I have to pick up this money at western union . they give me cod number but I newer cal ,, I think is some trick .. so I say good bye to 7000 and never call back to confirm this messeage
I got the same suspicious call. They wanted account information or western union, so of course I say western union as I am not giving my account information to someone who also sounds drunk on the phone. So at first she was going to transfer me but when I said western union she just gives me that number to call back claiming it is the Federal Reserve of New York. Of course I have worked for the federal reserve so I know this not correct. Searching further I see this phone number is associated with http://www.onlinequranstudy.com/ a Muslim site. Clearly a con.
One more note. Based on the information they shared over the phone they could have only got my information from Beyond.Com career network. Shameful to target unemployed people looking to find a job. Don't use that site.
I got the same call offering money for me if I would call the number and give them a certain code number. After seeing other posts on this site, I am not going to call back and believe this is a scam. Be careful out there -- too many con artists out there making claims- Always remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it likely isn't even close to being true!
