On Friday, April 8, 2016, at 4:36 p.m. an out-of-area call came on my phone. I answered and someone calling herself Jeniffer told me she is calling from the government grants office because she has $9,000 in grant that the government wants to send to me. I asked why? she said because I paid my taxes on time. I asked her for a number I could call to verify what she said and she got quite upset and told be they are not allowed to give a call-back number. However, I kept her on the line and asked her many questions, and it seems she forgot she told me she had no call-back number because she then gave me the number 206-204-4732 and told me as soon as he hangs up I am to call that number and her boss will come on the line to finalize sending me the $9,000. Of course I went on line and put the number in the search engine to see who the number is registered to and what came back is Juliana Kazandjis and a write up of many victims who people from this number called with similar stories of grants they are sending out to them, which EACH person was asked to send these scams different sums of money in order for them to send the grant money to them. I then called the number 206-204-4732 several times, and each time the same woman answered the phone and give me a different name: Christie Jones, Jeniffer Lavaris, or something close to that; then a man answered, and when I asked to speak to Christie Jones, he told me to dial 117, and I could hear him laughing or snickering in the background. These people are criminals who are not prepared to work for a living, but would prefer to sit at a phone all days and call people's telephone number with such criminal activities, and the sad thing is that some people do believe such lies. I asked what address Christie is calling from she said 200 Independence SW, Washington DC 20201... And that my grand ID Number is JR135, and that's the number I was to give her boss when I call 206-204-4732 and her boss will immediately forward that grant money to me.
