They called my Mom twice this morning. I called them back. They wanted the last four number of her ss and name to identify her. I didn't give it. They found her by her phone number. Said they were SS Administration, that my Mom's SS is being stopped as she is being sued by US Treasury and to contact SS office.
Your number was only 'blacklisted'? There are versions of this scam that claim to 'stop' or 'block' your ss#. The sad thing is, older folks, disabled people get scared and then scammed. Thanks for posting!
