Received the same "deal" from an unknown caller. After his spiel, he told me I needed to call the "toll-free number" of 206–209–1641. I said in the United States toll free numbers start with 800, 866, or 888. He just kept repeating the same thing over and over and over. And I said you are not understanding what I'm telling you. He hung up on me.
I received same call from 206-209-1641 saying I got a grant for 9,000 as this Raquel Larin stated and need to call that number with my confirmation number QZ123 and her ext.is 38, I called the man ask for my Name So I give him a phoney name "Sonya Clare" not my Real name. Just listen to what they want me to do which is go to CVS,WALGREENS,WALMART ETC TO RETRIEVE A PRE-PAID CARD FOR $250.00 AND THEN GO TO WESTERN UNION TO GET 9,000. SO CALLED I DONT HAVE TO PAIY NOTHING TO GET 9,000..BUT YOU KNOW ONCE THEY GET YOUR PRE-PAID CARD INFO IS WHERE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!!((((FOLKS IT'S, A COMPLETE SCAM!!!!!!) Got a call from "Linda" about a $9,000 government grant. Don't know the number called from. But, the instruction was to call the above number and recite the confirmation number she gave me. Said the line might be busy, so keep trying. I didn't call, so about an hour or so she called back asking why I hadn't called. Told her the line had been busy, so I quit trying. She started jabbering and I kept telling her I tried. Then asked her where the area code was from. She told me the truth about that. Then she said to call anytime from Monday through Friday if I had any questions. When I asked what their hours were she got irritated and swore at me. I hung up.
