They just called me and said the same thing, gave me this number to call back, I did it rang 1x and kind of went dead, then abt 2 minutes later an "unknown" call came thru, when I answered he said his name (I ddnt catch it) that he was from the Treasury Department and stated that he had a missed call from me...I hung up!!! Whole thing freaks me out, with everything going on in the world now, they knew my address and everything...freaks me out!!!
They called stating they were calling with the federal government providing personal grants of $9000 wanted to verify personal identifying information, and set up a call with an account manager. The lady barely spoke English and when I asked what country she was calling from she said Washington DC. Lol Scam. No thanks!

Same thing a caller I'd of 650 that CA told me to call back to a 206 area code. Then I ask his name and number Mr Smith lol at a 202 area that is well known D.C. About a 9000$ grant and had all my info as well.
Got this call. I'm on SSI and they asked for $250.00 and promised $9250.00 back. I asked why they couldnt take that $250.00 out of money that they would give me and had no answer.
