Private inlisted caller called my cell . Had my name and address correct. Proceeded to say I was chosen for a $ 9000.00 grant and to call 206-212-1094 back as soon as we hang up. Gave me a confirmation code to receive my grant. I didnt call back. Immediately looked online and saw that the number is associated with a scam .
Received a call on my cell phone similar to the calls noted above. A man with a very heavy accent told me that I had been qualified to received $9,000 grant from the government. He gave me a Money Confirmation ID# and told me to call 206-212-1094. He said his supervisor was ask for my ID # and give me instructions that the money would be waiting for me at a local store (Walgreen, Western Union, etc.). He asked for my zip code, verified the state I live in and then asked for my age. I thought that was a little odd. I am highly suspicious of calls like that anyway and have no intentions of calling the number he gave. The only reason I answered it at all is because my phone shows "Restricted" when my parents call and I thought it was them, otherwise I would not have answered it.
