I got a voice mail saying that this is the last attempt to contact me before I have to appear before a grand jury for a federal criminal offense.
So it sounded like a scam, but I called the number back anyway and the indian sounding guy started to hit on me. He said I have a beautiful voice and he wants to meet me for sex! What a creep!! And then he said he needed to talk to my husband right away, and I told him to [***] off because this is a scam, and he is a pervert. He said how did you figure that out, and I told him I'm not a fricken idiot.
So yeah, this is a major scam, and this guy is a major pervert. Be careful, do not meet this guy or give out any information.

I just got the same phone call from the IRS supposedly and it wasn't a person but a recording saying that if I didn't want to go to jail for a federal crime I better call them back. I knew I didn't owe the IRS anything but my ex does so I thought he might have used my number but when I called the number back no one answered so I googled it and found all these sites where this number is a scam.... sooooo tired of these people wanting to make money off of people who can't afford it..... GO GET A JOB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Left a threatening message that others have posted so I won't repeat. But they try to appeal to your emotions and create urgency, saying "ignoring this last and final attempt to contact you will be considered failure to appear in front of a court magistrate" or something to they effect and act as if theyve been trying to contact you to appear for a "federal crime" and all that. It's a scam, I've never been contacted and I don't owe anything and I pay my taxes every year.
