Copying MT's comment from 8/24 about 315-690-5237: "Received an automated call today from this number claiming they're the IRS and threatening a lawsuit against me. I have reason to believe it is SCAM because I heard they are not supposed to call you when they have a case against you, they are supposed to mail you".
I was receiving the same robo calls from the 315 number so I blocked the number and reported it to the Do Not Call complaint desk on 8/25. Today I received virtually the exact message from this new number! Blocking numbers obviously does NO good!
I received a robo call from 206-238-0190 with caller ID “Bainbridge I WA “claiming they're the IRS / treasury department and threatening a lawsuit against me. This is a well known scam don’t fall for it.
