Apparently a voice message for WestStar Publishing about free airline tickets and $300 gas money that I "Won!" for signing up for a drawing that I don't recall ever signing up for. It leaves a call back number of 1-866-680-5621. Probably some time share/vacation package scam.
This is a slick telemarketing outfit alerting "winners" of a 3 day Mexican Riviera Cruise + $100 gas money.
Alert: Did they know your name before calling you? NO!
They operate under the name America West Promotional Department or Goodtime Vacations.
Why do they require that you have 50K verifiable income? Why do they require a credit card?
BECAUSE THIS IS A SCAM - DON'T GET TAKEN !!
I did not answer this call. Message left was a woman claiming to represent Westar Advertising. She claimed I was the winner of 2 round trip tickets from DFW airport to any location and gave a number to call within 24 hours: 1-866-680-5621. She also claimed (and seemed to be surprised by this) that I was eligible to receive $300 worth of free gas. Of course I looked it up first and found this site telling me it was a scam which I suspected.
