They called twice today and have called in the past, despite fact that our number is on the no-call list. I was able to get someone on the phone at least once and told them that our number was on NC list and to stop calling. a lot of good that did!
Autocaller "lower your interest rate", "no problem with your account now", "eligibility expires soon" ; press 3 to avoid future calls, press 1 to speak to a representative. Pressed 1, got a very pushy character who insisted on talking over me and trying to force answers to stock questions. I talked faster and better, asked who Cardholder Services was, and when he reeled off several credit card companies they "serviced" I asked are you Visa, are you Mastercard, are you American Express? Click. He was gone as soon as he knew I wasn't a weakling. These people are scum, and they are heartless.
just got a call from this number...it was a pre-recorded message wanting to lower my interest rates on my credit cards...just reported them to www.donotcall.gov
if everybody would just keep reporting, they would be fined and stopped
only takes a few minutes to report
these calls are only annoying...do they really ever get anywhere with them???
