I had a call from this number. The message was a poorly-generated robotic voice and most of the message was cut off, but it was clearly a threat of "further legal action." I would judge this to be 100% bogus.
I received a phone call from this number and they left a message on my cell phone. The message stated that I need to urgently call them back to stop further court action against me. So, I called the number back and he said he was with the Internal Revenue Service and that I have not been filing my taxes correctly over the years and they could help me. The guy had a strong Indian accent. I told him I dont know what you are talking about. He said they can help me before I get sued. I was driving in my car. I told the gentleman I rather call him back when I get home so I can write down all this information he is telling me. He said you hurry home and call me back so we can help you.
I received a message at 7:40 this morning and stated I needed to return this phone call and the it was urgent and if I didn't they would take legal action against me. I called and they said they were from the IRS and that they were legit.
Rec'd same recorded message that a warrant was issued, legal action will ensue and me and my property are being monitored. Worst recording I've ever heard. Spotty female type voice.
