Called and told me of a government grant I was sellected to recieve gave them a 150 then 97 friday try to call them monday can not get through may have been a scam and im out of some of my rent money.
• There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
• If it sounds (or looks) too good to be true, it probably is.
• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, or a grant from a gracious government <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
• The tooth fairy really does not exist
• Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
• It is illegal to ask for money for a loan or prize, before awarding the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you "green dot", MoneyGram or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Greeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites.

Just got a call saying I had been selected to receive free grant money, from the government, called the above number but they said they would call back in about 20 min. Haven't heard from them.
I also received a call about being approved for a federal grant for $4500. Rep told me is name was Mike Smith. Sound bogos. They advise me to call 206-317-1337 to ask for a account manager. I didn't call... Sounds like a scam. I ask for a website and he gave me USA.GOV... Looked on that site and didn't see no grant in this nature
