Why would they want to send me money that way doesn't make any sense ... Just send me the check I told him that why would I send any money they called private -unknown then they called with (203) 987-6785 and also (202) 622-2000
Totally a scam do not do as they tell you
I received a call from Washington DC and it was a woman who could barely speak English, she was stating that I had won a $7,000 non-refundable grant from the US Treasury and that I would not have to pay taxes on it. all she wanted to know is if I had a criminal record within the last 6 months and of course I said no. then she asked for my debit card number so I gave her my prepaid debit card number because I wasn't sure if this was a scam but I was pretty sure it had to be, however there was no money on my card and I had actually planned on getting a new one anyway so I was not that worried about giving her the card number at that time. she then gave me an ID number and told me to call 1-206-734-4803 so I did and Michael Freeman answered the phone and told me all I had to do to get this great wonderful grant that I was so luckily chosen by the US Treasury to receive is go to the closest Walmart and send them two hundred and $270 through MoneyGram or Western Union. after he said that I knew for a fact that it was a scambut he said when I went to send the money to make sure I took my phone with me and to send it to the Federal Reserve Bank of NY. I told him I would have to call him back and I've googled his name and found this page! wow I just cannot believe there's so many ppl out there trying to scam ppl that are really struggling! It's a SHAME!!! THE FBI NEED TO STEP IN AND DO SOMETHING!! They are calling from Washington DC so it seemed legit at first. It's not right all all. These ppl need to caught and punished for theseveral crimes! I never ever give out my debit card number but I was convinced for some reason I guess because they called from Washington DC that it was realbut now that I think about it anyone could get a Washington DC number, I really hope the FBI does something about these people because it is hard telling how much money they have scammed from the United States people!!!
