Who called from 2063171629

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

I just got a call to call 2063171629, I called the number the guy went into saying legal charges are being filed after the call ends, and he even got aggressive and I said " bring it down a note" He said I was playing and I said this is a recorded line he kept hanging up! He got me on a good morning bring it on.....

I got 2 calls from this number back to back... When I called it back it rang a few times and then went busy????

I got a call from this number jst an hour back. They threatened me saying they will seize my assets and deport me back to INDIA if I dont pay them my tax and that I have 4 allegations against me for fraud . They said if I hung up , they will issue a warrant immediately. I hung up the call and then I immediately got a call from "Emergency number" stating that he is a cop and there is a warrant against my name and he asked me to come down to a police station. I took the address from him. I googled it up and it was a police station. I found the phone number online and called them. They said pay no heed to such callers, they are cons. I was soo freaked out :(

I called the number back and got an Indian speaking man. I asked him twice who he was and when I told him I doubted he was from the IRS calling me from a 206 area code, he hung up on me. Total scam.
