12/2/2014 9:50A (eastern). Computerized voice mail left on my answering machine - caller ID said Alton, IL - phone company showed call originated from 618-463-1412. Message was as follows:
"Hello. We have been trying to reach you. This call is officially and final notice from IRS. Internal revenue Service. The reason for this call is to inform you that IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 206-317-1651. I repeat the number 206-317-1651. Thank you."
Received the IDENTIAL call - exact wording - same computer voice a few hours later from 607-737-0186 telling me to call 253-656-5016.

I just got the same call 40 minutes ago. The "officier" from IRS told me that IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. He was explaining me all about the amount of $985 that I had to pay using EFTPS. If I can it all taken care, they will drop the charge and won't send it to the court house. If not, they will send an officier to come and arrest me in the next 30 minutes at my house.
Received phone message supposedly from IRS claiming that we would be sued if payment was not made. Call is from Seattle WA and IRS does not make such calls. I did not return call but am warning others to stay away and ignore.
