Recieved an email but this number was attached as a callback number to contact. Is this a scam?I was advised to pay $920 to an unknown "loan" business which the emailer was not able to disclose. He claims he works in the main building that hosts a string of mini loan places. Still could not provide the loan place of business.
I recieved an email today suggesting that I owed $920 and that I had 1day to pay them to avoid legal action..the.most interesting part of the email was.the excessive typos and improper use of words not to mention there was no company letter head no file or case.# nor was there an address send in this so called payment of $920 ..there was'nt even a company name just a gmail username that any one of us can create anf then demand money..the icing on the cake would definitely be the above mentioned number which is a non working number...these people clearly have a team of amateur idiots working for them its pretty interesting that everyone they email owes $920....i wouldnt worry about these idiots however I would be concerned with how they are able to get a hold of ssn# ....
Same thing here. Said I owe $920 and threatening legal action. Never even heard of them. And just like above, sounded like they didn't know English and many typos, etc. How did they get my ss# and email address to begin with. I am not even replying!
Same email and message here. Saying I owe $920.00 but I dont know who they are. Seems funny to me that we all owe the same amount oif money to a company we dont know. Counting this off as a scam.
