I received a call today at my job stating that they have a federal warrant for my arrest for a payday loan but would not give me any information of what pay day loan or details. What concerns me is that he has all of my personal information. The two men I spoke with was Gary Jones and Paul Jackson. Both men have an thick accent. I gave them my attorney's number and told them to call him. Of course Gary was not happy. I knew this was a scam.
Today I received a voice mail message from a "Paul Jackson"(thick Indian accent) claiming to be with the Department of Justice stating that there are serious allegations of fraud associated with my social security number. I called back(yes, I'm an idiot) and spoke to someone called "Gary Jones" who has a thick Indian accent. He claimed to be working for a federal unit that investigates fraud for the Department of Justice. He said that there are 3 federal criminal charges of fraud against me for failing to payback a short term payday loan(I never applied for such a thing). He was very intimidating and threatened that I will be summoned by a federal court to face class B felony charges if I don't call back within 24 hours. Initially I freaked out but then found website and learned that this is a massive scam for fake debt collectors. The scary thing is that he has a lot of my personal information. Report them to the FTC and contact the credit bureaus to monitor your credit.
Justin Blackwell has been on my work phone talking about how stupid black people are. Calling me a shamless woman. How is he allowed to continue to call me on my work and talk to me in this mammer.
we get the same calls from this number 206-317-2040....the caller id say john butler but the guy calls himself john smith...how original. what losers. these guys call saying they are from some federal crime comission and wish to speak to my husband...asking for him over and over again. They don't even have my husband's real name...a nick name we call him by. I would think the federal gov't would use my husband's legal name.
same indian accent. these guys must of got a bunch of magic jacks and call people internationally.
crooks....probably religious nuts trying to scam people for their evil cause and beliefs. I even have fun telling them their caller id doesn't match their names. they also need to learn to speak english.

Last month....they were payday loan places ...now they claim to be the federal government....ooooohhhh.....I'm scared of my own federal government...yahhh right! They are idiots.
And they have multiple numbers too...if you really piss them off...they give your number to a alot of other people in the office who do the same thing. Then you will get alot of calls.
We now just have a call blocker. Easy to hook up. Let them waste their time. I don't care. they can have fun calling. It's their time.
There are lots of ways to get ahead in life without scamming people. They just need to work harder, get educated and quit trying to make fast buck scamming people. Get rich schemes do not work and you won't get rich scamming people.
