A foreign woman called stating that she was with the government letting me know that I was entitled to 8900.00 for being a good citizen??! This sounds like a scam..has anyone else experienced anything like this from this number?
The government does not call people up and offer them free money because you paid your taxes on time, have never been arrested, have paid all your bills, or whatever excuse they can make up. In order to get a grant you need a valid reason (not one of the above and not just because you need money), you have to fill out tons and tons of paperwork, wait a long time, and might not even get the grant in the end.
I just got the same call. But they gave me that number to call but called from a differnt number. The lady stated her name was Rachael Smith which she didn't sound like a Rachael Smith.
