Just got the call from this number, also claiming a pending IRS lawsuit against me. I called back twice: first time it was busy :-) , second time the background conversations in the "scam pool" were so loud she couldn't hear me and hung up on me. Poorly run scam to be sure :-)
I got a call and called back just today. I asked why they were calling and what they did there. The inidian man wouldn't respond, only asked for the number I received a call from. Then I asked if it was the irs in America and he laughed. I told him that was unprofessional so he told me to f*** off two times. Hmmmm he sounds legit . Get on your camel and go fast, bc your going to be caught. Report him on www.tigta.gov , click on the top right.
Treating call re IRS suing me and to find out more, call another IRS 206 area code number, which I did not! Same experience as another reporter. Very unnerving! Does anyone know which Fed agency to report this? IRS? FBI?
