They purchase old, old debt and try to trick you into paying it.

They recently acquired an unused 206 phone number in the hopes that you'll pick-up.
Someone called from this number and left a message saying
"Hey it's John. I know you are busy, but someone just forwarded me an email. I really need to talk to you so I can verify this information with you. It's personal. Please call me back at (877)"....blah blah blah
Looked up 1st caller (Portfolio Mgt.) who is a collector who buys old or charged off
receipts and has quite a reputation for harassment – we keep getting no message
calls that I refuse to answer, and when I can I call back on pay phones and leave
hypothetical names or questions
