Got a call from 206-337-7865 and the caller sound indian and he immediately said he was calling about my computer. I told him that I didn't request help from any company about my computer so not to call me anymore and I hang up. I knew it was a scam. I get daily scams calls. I hope the goverment can help with this new disturbing threat toward senior citizens.
These people have called me 3 times in the last few days. Each time they say " I'm calling about your computer, did you know that it's sending error messages to Washington"? When I told him I think this is a scam, he hung up on me!
Some guy, very difficult to understand, broken english, sounded like the call was from India. Started talking tech about my computer regarding error signals, I stopped him mid sentence and said what do you want, what are you trying to sell, he hung up...
Got the same call from someone with poor English about my computer. Think he was trying to sell me anti virus software for my computer. When I informed him I was on the "Do Not Call List" and that he just broke the law, he replied "I know". A scam artist and criminal, no doubt.
These people have called me several times. I got lucky and had the phone close by the last time they called. Guy with extremely bad spoken English (obvious Indian tard) tries to convince me my PC is sending out my personal information to hackers. So I let him waste at least 15 minutes of his time getting to the money part he wants from me to fix the issue for me.
I then told him off in rapid fashion that he was an Indian cum swallowing imbecile and hung up on him before he could speak! It's been 2 weeks and that phone # has yet to call me again.
A young man with a very strong accent (most likely from India) called to tell me that my computer was sending out "error notices" whenever I sent out e-mail and that my computer was infected. [I run a suite of anti-virus and ant-malware software that has kept my computer clean. Even though there have been a number of (failed) hacking attempts over time, I am able to verify in real time my computer is fine.] I told him I knew he was lying and attempting fraud --- to stop calling. Over the past few months I have gotten an increasing number of this type of call from people with heavy Chinese, Russian, and other accents, usually speaking very poor English. They all say pretty much the same thing; they want me to give them access to my hard drive so they can "repair the damage" or remove the virus for me. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!
