Who called from 2063385620

This phone number is linked with a scam for credit report details Please do not accept phone call or give any information out to anyone from this number. This person is placing a scam rental house on Craigslist when you link to it you will receive a request to update a credit report and fill out a rental application which is bogus. Just beware.

Oh Jezzz this is awful! I almost filled out a credit report that I was going to send to him for a rental! I knew it was too good to be true!

Is he able to get any of my information from a credit check link he linked to me?

Please tell me it isn't a phishing scam! Does he actually need me to send him the info to get it? Or did he get it when I filled out the credit info? I didn't think about it until I had already gotten my credit info, but I haven't sent him any info. Man, I hate craigslist!!!!!!

Just got the same.... I googled the number and it led me here.

Here is the message:

"Hello

My 2 bedroom 2 bath house is still available, but I am getting a ton of emails. It is 1400 square feet and does not include internet or cable in the rent price. I will take care of the water and trash all you have to pay is the electric which runs around $80-$90 a month..I need  it rented out soon (since I lost my job) but am very concerned about tenants keeping up with rent. I had a few renters that could not pay and am very cautious about it this time around (Money is tight these days). If you are seriously interested in renting it out, I would prefer a credit check as a precautionary measure. After that it will redirect you to my rental application.

Here's a free credit report place that I have it setup to redirect you to our rental application when you finish.

I just got scammed from another person using the same free credit report site as this guy did. Her email is [email protected] watch out for this one as well. I went through all the steps of calling my credit card companies and putting an alert on my credit reports also.
another thing you should do and if all of us keep doing it maybe they can be caught who knows! It's just so sad that they are out there, I have been desparately looking for a place for months and to run across this is sickning. forward phinisng emails to [email protected]
