called stating that money was owed to the irs and that I was going to jail

They have repeatedly been calling our home phone saying the are the IRS and that we needed to call immediately.   Want it stopped.

Yep, same here. I said to mail me the bill and the "officer" refused.,,

Told me that they had reported this to my employer. I asked which one. Anything I asked him, like did I file alone or with someone else, he could not answer. When we had a problem with the IRS once, we were notified by certified mail and each filer was notified. What a scam. I told him that I would be waiting for the Sheriff. LMAO, wouldn't federal agents be coming, since it is with the Federal government?  Stupid [***], was a sounded from China.

Foreign person called stating that he was with the IRS and that I owed $7,220.00.  I hung up but not before he stated that the police would be at my home in 30 minutes to arrest me.  What a scam.
