This is a part of TELCO 214 & TELCO 214 US ~ they are an $82M a year SCAM by a Michael Butler and Steven D Wood. THEY OWN a Telephone number provider Company that changes numbers OFTEN and has ACCESS to TONS of Phonenumbers. They are at 2571 KIRBY Circle NE, PALM BAY, FL ~ This SCAM has become VERY LARGE AND VERY ORGANIZED. I'm working my investigative [***] off until I can NAIL these [***] to a BOARD. USE SUNBIZ.ORG ~ FL GOV site and do a lookup on Telco 214 they also use ~ ibsa, us. Inc. ~ $1.3 MILLION WEEKLY.
Google "callerID4u". This company (and I use the term loosely) owns a bank of numbers. They allow a telemarketer to use the number, and shares the profit every time they call a number that has caller ID.
So this is what our 10 bucks per month for caller ID goes toward!! They make money just by placing the call!
Is it any wonder these calls never stop?! This needs to be illegal!!!
rj is correct; they have once again switched numbers in order to continue with these harassing calls. Apparently, they started using it yesterday. I called back and pressed "1" to have my number removed from their "preferred marketing list." We'll see what happens.
Someone called and asked if I would like to take advantage of their special deals and promotions and cuts in interest. I said yes and they hung up. So I called the number and only got a recording saying if I did not want to receive any more calls from them, then press one.
