Received a call from this number, left a msg stating that they were Officer Rick Harrison with some investigative company. Tried to call back, but their mailbox was full.
Got a call from this number and heard the same old scam recording that the IRS is coming after me and call them immediately or they will proceed with the case and all the same old empty threats.
Call (so-say) from the IRS saying they were going to prosecute me if I didn't contact them back immediately. The name that came across the caller ID is listed below under caller.
We received a call from 206-414-1050 at 1:00pm CST and it was a recording from a so called attorneys office threatening immanent arrest for tax collection and tax fraud. We identified it as a scam immediately when we tried calling them back and they said it was for tax fraud since we pay a licensed CPA office to file our taxes for us. When we asked for the address of their office they refused and then when we asked about the scam ravaging our great nation they hung up. We called back again immediately and no one answered the phone after 20 rings.... please help stop this abuse on us. thank you.
FDCPA VIOLATIONS -
1. Calling themselves "attorney - illegal
2. Refusing to give you company information upon request.
There isn't much you can do except block the caller or not answer the phone. They will eventually give up.
