This number called my work and cell number leaving the same message on both. That I cannot ignor this call it is a very urgent matter. He said his name is Jack Thomas, yeah right, and he has a very heavy accent and he is calling from a law office. He says that if I do not call him back he can only wish myself and my family good luck. I have gotten calls like this in the past and this is a scam so BEWARE!!
Rec'd a call from this # today saying I owed money, they also called my cell from 916-395-0000. The caller identified themself as being a Sebastian Brown with First State Atty Office. Heavy Accent. I asked him to prove the allegation and fax me the affidavit, he said it was against the call, when I told him that I needed to know he was legimate, he got mad and asked me if I had an attorney I said yes, and he said that I would be taken to court on Friday (he called me on a Wednesday). Since, I have been harrassed by these individuals before I thought I would have a little bit of "fun" with them, so I took the opportunity to get some stress out and "jack" with them for a little bit, and then hung up on him. They have not called back since.
This number calls me at work and says the same thing about owing money and there is a court date on Friday and he is calling on Wednesday. When you return the phone call he asks if you are drunk and instructs you to take off your clothes. He also says he has your email address, social security number, yada yada.... When the number calls it shows up as 0000000011 sometimes and other wierd numbers.. so they are changing the id to make the calls. We have called the police to report. I suggest anyone else do this too.
these people have called me at work, on my cell and it's really starting to make me angry! Same as all of the above, owe them money, they use American names that they can't even pronounce. Guess they think we're all as ignorant as they are. I'm turning the number in to the sheriff and city detectives, maybe they can find out more.
I have received several calls from this number. The person on the other end of the phone tells me I owe them and have not paid and will see what happens in court. They asked me if I had an attorney and I told them I couldn't afford one - which is what they wanted to hear but I didn't know this at the time, then I was switched to their supervisor named Steve Sebastian and he explained to me that I needed to fax them my ID, my credit or debit card number with the three digit code on the back and the name on the card within so many day or I could risk going to court and paying court costs and attorney fees. You can hardly understand the person on the other end of the phone, they are usually talking fast being very irate and steady telling you, you can take your chances in court. I will be reporting the number to the sheriffs office.
