Got a call from this number it's totally bogus... I recently spoke to an IRS employee on another matter and he said point blank...THE IRS DOES NOT CALL ANYONE... THEY CONTACT YOU BY MAIL.

You receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS but you suspect they are not an IRS employee ... 1.Record the employee's name, badge number, call back number and caller ID if available.
2.Call 1-800-366-4484 to determine if the caller is an IRS employee with a legitimate need to contact you. •If the person calling you is an IRS employee, call them back.
•If not, report the incident to TIGTA and to us at [email protected] (Subject: 'IRS Phone Scam')
I just did. These thieves will run from the boiler room, to change their number to call people again.

I got the call from 206-445-0849 at 5:15pm today.
The mssg.. was a womans voice (last week it was a mans voice) Stating that I am being given notice that the federal govt. is going to take action against me for the I R S. It's annoying to get these calls especially when my wife gets them and I am not at home.
