Rec'd call at my place of work. "Steve Anderson" from The "Department of Legal Affairs US Treasury". (Indian Accent,broken up phone line, and could also hear other people in the back ground) Wanted to know if I was aware of a "pending legal action against my name". Wanted me to call back at the same number that he said he was calling from 206-452-3712. When asked why I should call him back if he is calling me from the same number, he said, he was "calling from the switch board and that I needed to speak with an agent". "3 possible agents I could talk to, and he wasn't sure which one I would get". Some one named Arthur, or a Sharon Phillips and he didn't know the 3rd name.
He asked me to please call back and "Have a nice day and God Bless".
This number claims to be the IRS & wants you to call another number. His line was breaking up & his accent was possibly from India. He claims I have a warrant issued from the IRS for back taxes. I call BS. I have no letters or contact with the IRS and no back taxes due to my knowledge. He wanted me to call the number above but he called from 206-658-9369.
Same as above. Called about pending legal case with the U.S. Treasury. Asked for me by name. Wanted me to call this number but called me from it. Dumb! India accent. No name given. I wrote the number down but I plan on ignoring this caller. Do Not Call This Number! It is probably one of those numbers you call and pay a minute rate, which will be billed to your Phone bill.
This guys's on a roll. This Indian guy just called me at my work. Said I had a legal case with the U.S. Treasury and they were going to sue me. Told me to call another number. Just like all of you above. Wish there was a way to stop this and shut it down.
