This number left a message saying the were an officer from the US Dept of Treasury and the are trying to get into contact for a legal matter. They didnt say who they where looking for and when I called the number back it just rang. After letting it ring about 10 times I hung up.
Also - the caller ID comes up as 202-622-3000, but the caller (who sounds foreign) leaves the 206 number. If you call the ID number back, it is defunct. Beyond that - I seriously doubt the US Treasury makes calls on a weekend for anything, but further, the Treasury has ZERO to do with making collection calls or legal mitigation calls on behalf of other debtors.
