Caller sounded very unprofessional and said that a check had not been received and that i should stop payment, reissue the check and send immediately by overnight mail to Lance Shere in Glen Cove NY.  I assumed that he was referring to a check I had mailed several weeks ago. I contacted the bank and found that the check had been deposited by the proper recipient.
