Got the same call - same thing, a control # & a phone # to call back. It was very difficult to understand the person calling. If I really qualified why didn't the government just send me the check directly?
Also recieved the same call for a grant approval of $9200. First I recieved a call from an unknown number, her name was Stacey. She told me I was approved for the grant money and to call 2065695714 with a confirmation number of EL1003. I called have the number and spoke with a lady named Lizbeth. Also both of them sounded like they were in a crowded call center. Lizbeth said to get the approved grant money I would need to go to a money gram with a SECURITY DEPOSIT of $300. Then I give her a call BEFORE I give the money and she would explain the directions to me and I would recieve my $300 back along with the $9200 grant. I said ok and hung up. I call back and whn I tried to verify who she worked for at first she said she didn't work for any company, but do the federal gov. she kept saying she worked for the federal government in the GRANT DPT... No such thing and she started to get upset, I asked her why she was getting upset and she said "because you keep asking me what dpt!" Then hung up... Probably a scam
