Guy called from 206-823-3090...I did not recognize the number and let it go to my answering machine. Ballsy [***] says "Do you want to know what you did wrong?" Call me at 206-823-3090, this is the IRS. You had better call soon. What a joke, this has been covered by my local news warning the viewers against this crap!
No one here is calling you. Calls originate in India and Pakistan. Invest in a call blocker. You might want to block area codes
206 253 360 425 509 564 also are code 202. The stupid scammers don't understand the difference between Washington State and Washington DC. They think that the people they call will think that the Washington State area code calls come from Washington DC.
I got 2 calls from 206-823-3090. I heard an uncleared recording ( it's the recording). The first time it said he calls from IRS and there's something wrong with my last years tax return, I can call back to find out what I did wrong; the second time it said there's something wrong with my W-2 Form with my tax return. But I haven't have any W-2 forms filed with my tax returns for years. This phone call is located in Washington State.i believe it's scam.
I got a voicemail and called back thinking it really was the IRS. Wasted 30 minutes of my time (panicking wondering what the heck was going on because I couldn't understand a word he was saying)...He told me the IRS was auditing me 2009-2014 and I owed almost $6K and hadn't been filing taxes. Also that I could either pay them $500 today as a "holding payment" and pay the rest later OR they were going to call the local sheriff and I was going to be arrested and would owe $25K+ battling it in court. And if I hung up the phone they were going to put a warrant out for my arrest. This is a bunch of bull and complete waste of my energy and my time. I called back and told them that I knew this was a scam and that I was turning them in for trying to scam me.
