Same thing, automatic recording said this call is IRS filing a lawsuit against me. Full of crap...shows Private Number so you answer and then leaves a number for you to call back so your phone bill can get charged....WATCH OUT PEOPLE!!!!!
I called the Seattle Police, who directed me to the FBI, who directed me to Treasury Inspector General Tax Administration. You can report these scammers at www.tigta.gov. You can file a complaint on-line with them. Maybe if we all report this they might investigate. The advise that I received is not call the phone number at all and do not give ANY information at all. Also, the IRS will use snail mail to contact you. Also, the police said that these phone numbers are hijack by foreign nationals.
