Received several calls from this number several times today, when i answered no one responded, the last time they called they left a message stating the IRS was suing us and to call the number back for further information! First this is a Scam, do they think i am stupid, the IRS does not operate this way, never calling people, they would notify you by mail! Something has to be done about these crooks!!!!
Called at 4:30 today, checked with the IRS, it is a scam. they gave me a phone number to the Attorney General in Washington, DC at 1-800-366-4484. Just leave your info and they will get back to you if they need further info.. Knew it was a scam because by law the IRS can't call you in the phone, they have to send a formal letter.
Same as every other poster. Received several calls I answered that almost immediately disconnected and one I missed that became a "The IRS is suing you" voicemail.
Obvious scam. I assume its trying to leave you a voicemail because it seems to disconnect if you actually answer so you don't realize it's not a person
