Message on my voice mail:service: "The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing lawsuit suit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call us immediately on our departmental phone line 206-855-5808. Repeat 206-855-5808. Thank you." This is a complete scam. I tried to call the number to secure information for a police report. I got a fast busy signal and a 'try your all later' message on my next try. I believe that this call is a prelude to some identify theft attempt as they are already breaking the law by claiming confidential knowledge of the IRS actions.
I just received the same message on my answering machine at 9:41 this morning. If the IRS was going to sue anyone they would have been in contact with the person A LONG time ago. I think this is one of those numbers that you call and you will be charged per every minute you are on the line. SCUMS!
