I got a call was told I was to get 7000 for recently filing bankruptcy and asked what I would be using the money for and to make sure that it wasn't for illegal usage. I am now having to call my bank and try to get some information changed
Told me I was getting $7000 for not having a criminal record filing for bankruptcy and that the money would be in my account in 45 minutes and I have to give $280 to Western Union then when I told them I changed my mind they got very rude and said that they were going to take $1,000 out of my account for wasting their time and hung up on them. I immediately called my bank to close my account and then reported them.
Caller with a thick accent called and said that I have been approved for a 30 k grant by the us government , please be aware this is a scam , do not give any personal information . These people needs to be investigated
i got called to day and they said that i was one of like 100 people that was selective because I didn't have a criminal background and I paid my bills on time for a 7000 dollars grant i gave them bad information just to see what it was about when i told the guy this sound like a scam he told me it was not and that the $280 was for the bank transfer then i told him that it was a scam and that i know this becaus e i have received grants
before and then the guy hung up on me.
