Yes. They are not Amazon. They are part of a scam trying to get people to pay for something using Amazon gift cards. Almost got scammed by someone supposedly selling a car. It was well below market value and they said they were in the military and would soon be deployed overseas. Said payment had to go through this bogus Amazon payment center.
This number called me with payment instructions, they were very rude, and said to call back with the gift card numbers. After more research found out that Amazon, the REAL Amazon doesn't ship cars. Watch out for this car selling scam.
said they were Amazon payment center and I could make payment for purchase . did and when I called back a couple days later they denied everything, money is gone and nobody knows nothing.
