It's a scam call pretending to be the IRS. The IRS will not call you.. they will send you letters or show up on your door step. My niece is a field agent for the IRS here in KCMO.

I got a call from a noisy area claiming to be the US grant dept. I never applied for any grants and that's after the 5th time calling today. They hung up on me twice earlier without any info because it was too noisy to hear and when I asked them to stop calling he hung up on me without a word.
