This person calls me threatening me that he is the IRS and I need to pay more taxes now. Calls me every week. Threatened to shut off my credit cards and my drivers license. What can I do to stop this.
Since you're being called by a scammer, the only thing you can do to "stop this" is block the calls. Your telephone may have a feature where you can do this, or you can assign a "no ring" tone to the number(s) so at least you won't hear the calls coming in. Otherwise, Google call blockers - you can get a good one for $60 or less. Some can block up to 1500 numbers.
I got a call from this number...it was a recording that said it was the IRS trying to contact me, and that they had been trying, and that they were going to sue me and I needed to call them back right away at 206-965-9280. Just for the entertainment value I tried to call (I am certain I am not being sued by the IRS as we are a family of 4 living off of $20,000 per year, nothing fishy with our taxes, etc.). However, when I tried to call the number they called from it said it was disconnected or no longer in service, and when I called the number the recording gave me it just rang and rang and rang.
