Caller knew me by name, claimed to be from General Electric. Wanted to know about my installed GE alarm system. I don't have a GE alarm system. Caller then asked if I still live on the street where we live. I hung up.
I called the number back. It rang for a while then went to a voicemail system identified as "Promotions department". Then the system said the mailbox was full and I was disconnected.
I called it into the local police.
This is either someone casing homes for burglary or a really sketchy promotions department trying to sell people home alarm systems.
