A voicemail came in on my cell telling me that “we have sent a final notice, in the mail, letting you that your warranty has expired, and this is a final courtesy call to renew the warranty before we close the file”. Then the female voice asks, “Would you like to speak to a warranty specialist?” They asked about three times if I want to speak to a warranty specialist! First of all, this call is total B.S. No one sent a notice in the mail about any warranty expiring. And, if it was about my car warranty, then they are about seven year’s late, because it expired in 2010. Notice how they did not say what type of warranty, or for what! Besides that I have no warranties on anything. People, I believe, as others have said, they are trying to get you to say yes, and record your voice to scam you. DO NOT ANSWER, JUST BLOCK THE CALL!
Do not answer. They are calling thousands of numbers every day to get you to say the word "Yes." They record you saying it, and then steal your identity, claiming that they have you on tape agreeing to something.
