they keep calling from different numbers with same area code. Threatening to turn my over to the district attorney. Little do they know I have already turned them over to the district attorney and the FCC for harassing me. They call and ask for you then put you on hold. I hung up them and then they started calling me repeatedly and leaving those "if you don't return this call you will have a warrant issued for your arrest" calls. Good luck with that buddy.
So let me get this straight... you're gleefully admitting you not only don't pay your bills, but that you also lie about it. Then you expect us to believe your poorly-fabricated tale of how wonderful this company is. Duuuuhhhh.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contain the “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of the receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
