the caller identified himself as a Microsoft IT support company (something International- BlahBlah) and my computer was giving out signals that I had downloaded endangering things and he was "there to correct them". I pressed to ask which computer ( we have a few), and the fact I don't use any Microsoft programs (other than a word VERY scarcely) he gave me a long string of numbers/letters. Had my address, my phone number and said my ID. He could not identify my computer and I asked for a name and contact to call back - he gave me the name Max (no last name), and a phone 1-800-635-510 (one number short of a North American number – well since the 50's). I pressed the fact, and he said that was his number.... Hmmmmmmmm - looks like all have had sketchy at best experiences.
Same thing.... 210-210-1739 and the usual Windows Support ploy.... I pretended to go into complete paranoid shock, asked him if it was the work of terrorists (no), ok, then is it the government spying on me? (no) - he kept trying to steer me to my computer, but I told him it was turned off because the aliens might be watching.... LOL he still didn't realize I was f**king with him, the stupid [***]. Finally he became boring so I told him I run Linux and he is a scamming f**k-face. For some reason, he hung up. Go figure.
I answered the phone and with a second hesitation, an Asian sounding male said hello. I knew the caller was a telemarketer or something so I got strat to the point telling him to remove my number from his list. He said there was no list and that " he just wanted to F *** me. I promptly and very forcefully told him to never call my number again or I would call the police and I hung up. He sure better not call again ...
