If you are receiving collection calls and want them to stop, I suggest visiting privacyrights.org. there they have all sorts of suggestions and ways to combat harassing phone calls.
I have receiving phone calls from you on my 712-881-2009 phone number and this is an attempt to stop the harrassing calls. I can not physically take your phone calls and they are requested , by me, to STOP. I have a registered phone for "no calls" and if you dont stop I will report you. Again, no more phone calls on my phone number.
Wasn't the wisest move to post your phone number for all the world to see. You may have just subjected yourself to an even worse problem.
Also, these people will probably not see your complaints here. If they do, they really don't care.
This is not the place to file a complaint - it's a place to report for the benefit of others who may be getting calls from the same number. This is a forum to expose scam phone numbers so everyone will know what they are.
It is like everyone has already posted Wamu. They are probably calling you because you are late on your payment or something similar. That is why they call me. From a dozen numbers like someone already posted. At around 8am, 12pm, 4pm, and 8pm like clockwork every day including saturdays and sundays. This can all be avoided if you have your account "up to date" which I plan on having soon.
These are annoying tactics but I don't think a "do not call" registry would work in this case. You have an agreement when you have an account with them. I think they are within their right to contact you as much as annoyingly possible to try to coerce you to bring your account
up to date.
Like I said it is an annoying tactic, one probably that has cost them more customers in the long run than the money they have collected. It sure is too late to help them in their current financial situation. They might "go under" soon and you could have JPMorgan or Citi calling you instead to collect on your account. Hopefully they will treat their delinquent customers better.
