i got an email and from this person named kevin smith saying that i was approved for 1500.00 and that the loan officer was steave smith(clue#1)who spells steve like that.clue #2 i use to work for advance america and they will never send out an email asking for informaton and do a deposit straight into your account.also if someone ask me for some money upfront i know i am not going to do it because if i was approved for so much money take it out of what i am approved for.but last not least who ask someone to pay money up[front for a loan anyway....
i was contacted by this guy that hardly spoke english he said that i was approved for 3500 dollars and of course i gave him my banking info and he told me to purchase a green dot card i did and gave the company 395 dollars cause i really did need the money, i called him back and gave him the code said the money was going to be in my account in 30 minutes turns out that i had to keep calling him and he would give me excuses then finally i told him that i just wanted my money back when he then said that they could send me the money western union but i would need to purchase a new card and deposit 235 more dollars which would all be returned when i got to the western union location i of course said HELL NO and said that i was very stupid for believing that it was true and that i wanted my money back rep then passed me to his manager when he told me that i would need to pay 600 dollars for the cancelation fee for the application. SO OF COURSE NOW IM OUT 395 DOLLARS AND I WONT BE GETTING 3500 DOLLARS SO YES I GOT SCREWED AND LEARNED A VERY VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN SCAM ARTISTS CALL U CAUSE IF THEY WANT MONEY UP FRONT THEN THAT MEANS ITS A SCAMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the info. I received an email from a Steve Smith with loan documents for a $1500 loan. the email said to call him to finalize loan. Going to call and see if he gives me the same runaround he gave you. I certainly won't send him any money.
I got a loan approval for $1500 from Steave (funny spelling) Smith today. I was so anxious I called immediately. He couldn't speak English very well....let that be your 1st clue!
I was asked to purchase a Green dot money Pak for $273 then call him with the 4 digit number listed on the back of the money Pak (with that number the funds can be removed!). He wanted me to leave the funds on the Pak for at least 30 minutes (just enuf time so the scammer can remove the funds). I told him I would call him back in an hour (I'm gonna have some fun with this crook!)

OMG they are really doing a number around here sending emails never calling, the + in front of the number is a dead giveaway overseas and the spelling of names always smith fictions to say the least....Br careful don't fall for it...
